Ellen Hutson - Catherine Pooler Designs Hop

Hey everyone!
We're hopping today to celebrate Catherine Pooler designs now available at Ellen Hutson!  Woot!   Ack, I am SOOOO excited!  Two companies I love coming together - so fun!

You should have arrived here from Emily Midgett's blog.  If you are just starting out, head to the Classroom

For the hop, I played with the Catherine Pooler Designs inks - specifically the Zen Garden collection!  These inks are amazing.  Seriously, that squishy foam pad creates the best stamped impressions!  I'm absolutely in love and I know I'll be buying the rest to have the entire ink collection!

I stamped the images from the Essentials by Ellen Rustic Botanicals and created a beautiful bouquet for the perfect backdrop for a pretty sentiment die.  The sentiment die is also from the Catherine Pooler Designs collection.

Your next stop on the hop is Julie Ebersole's blog.  Woot - have fun hoping'!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Spring Bouquet

Hey everyone!  I'm back with a card using the new Spring Bouquet set.
I absolutely love this new set.  These lilies are gorgeous!
To create my card, I heat embossed the lilies on my card base and also on vellum.  I die cut the vellum lilies using the coordinating dies.  On my card base, I ink blended to add color.  On my lilies, I used Copics on the reverse side of the vellum (the non-stamped side) and added color to my lilies.

I absolutely am obsessed with adding color to vellum stamped images using this technique - especially with flowers because it's so soft this way!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Essentials by Ellen - Cat Lady and Dog Lady

Hey all!
I'm so excited to sharing this card today using the latest Essentials by Ellen release - Cat Lady and Dog Lady.
To create my card, I stamped, die cut and colored in all of the dogs from Dog Lady and cats from Cat Lady.  The leading lady here is from Dog Lady.  I had so much fun coloring in all of the dogs and cats!  I added gel pen accents to each as well.

To assemble my card, I created a distress ink cloud background using a stencil created with vellum and a cloud die. Then I created a scallop frame using the Avery Elle Large Scallops and Pierced Rectangle dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
